I am currently upgrading to BES 4.0. I was wondering if anyone knew how i could find out the following information.

A. Where my sql server was located? On what server?

B. Type of authentication

C. Instance Name

I'm pretty sure that prior to 4.0, BES didn't use sql.

The best way is Administrative Tools -> Data Sources (ODBC). There should be a BESMGmt is the System DSN. That will tell you what you need to know.
