Default CalHelper.exe faulting and sync errors

Please Login to Remove!

I am currently running BES 4.03 with Exchange 2003. I keep getting event id 1000 (faulting application calhelper.exe v4.03.10 faulting module ntdll.dll version 5.2.3790.1830) in my application log on the BES server. I am also getting error 20035 and error 20100. I've verified the CDO and MAPI versions on the servers. Several users are also experiencing sync errors on their handheld. Where do I start troubleshooting?

Default CalHelper.exe faulting and sync errors

Hi CharlieJ,

Did you ever resolve this? I am in the same boat, though it is BES 4.1.3.14 and Exchange 2003 (Build 7638.2 SP2)...

For the benefit of others reading this thread, a possible fix. I found that the BESAdmin account in use for services on our BB server did not have Send As permissions to all the mailboxes it was working with, which obviously causes some issues. This might also cause the CALHelper to die, but not proven yet. These two links relate to what I found...
