Default BES updates domino calendar anniversaries

Please Login to Remove!

We have BES 5.02 running on Domino 8.5.2. Everything seems fine except that we suddenly noticed that calendar entries in Domino is moved a day forward (specifically - anniversaries). For those specific entries in notes calendar, we can see that the domino server that BES is running on has updated the calendar anniversary entries. This is not only on 1 user's calendar but almost all of them. So eg even though the user has entered this anniversary years ago (repeating), and never updated it on Domino, the BES server now changes the date of the anniversary.
I have searched the internet but cannot find anything on this issue?

Have you got any investigation done for this issue yet? What's the cause(s)?

I experienced the same (BES 5.0 and Lotus Domino 8.5). And i know of at least three other BES installations with Lotus Domino with the same problem. I contacted RIM support. After several weeks I gave up to find a solution.

Yeah it's really difficult to pin point Notes calendar issues as they are not as direct as troubleshooting message flow issues. So belair57, how did correct those dates?

correcting manually helped some users others have the wrong birthdays in Lotus calendar again after some weeks... As a workaround i recommend my users to note the correct anniversaries as reminders. These are correct in Lotus Notes calendar as well as on BB calendar.
