  • End User Feature Enhancements like remote file access, flag for follow-up, email folder management, Open Document Format (ODF) attachment support as well as support for multiple personal address books help increase productivity of mobile users

The link above doesn't appear to be working for me.

I can't find a download link on BlackBerry.com either.

Just called RIM and they said that it was supposed to be released yesterday but is still in beta. The release has been pushed back, no ETA.

Was also informed that they're releasing this just like they released it for Domino, they are only going to release it to a few clients at a time, to test the waters in a production environment.

Isn't that what beta testing is for?

Either way, I will update this thread when I have any more news to report on this release.

Thanks, noname.

That is good information to know. I am currently running 4.1.7 on a 2003 server. This may expedite the upgrade to 2008 even more.

Yeah, take note

{
If running Windows Server 2003:
  • Upgrade to Windows Server 2008
  • Install the Hot Patch in Microsoft Support Article KB979231
  • If the issue persists, disabling SSL for SOAP on the Novell GroupWise POA can help to further reduce the memory leak

If running Windows Server 2008:
  • Install the Hot Patch in Microsoft Support Article KB979231
  • If the issue is still persistance, disabling SSL for SOAP on the Novell GroupWise POA can help to further reduce the memory leak
}

Also, the minimum requirement is that the Novell® GroupWise® must be version 8.0.1 HP1 or later - FYI.

Looks like the most stable configurations for 5.0 SP1 is:-

-Novell GroupWise 8.0.1 HP1
-Windows 2008 Server SP2
-Microsoft SQL Server 2005 SP3

See link:-

KB24579-Environmental considerations when upgrading to or installing BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 SP1 for Novell GroupWise

Damn, looks like I am going to have to wait even longer until they support 8.0.2.
