We have been using BES 4.0 (Exchange) for years without many problems. But the server gets old and we want the additional functionality that 5.0 gives. So i installed BESX 5.0.2 on a new server and tested it out with demo BBs from Verizon. Everything seems to work fine. But when I wanted to move a user from the old server to the new one I ran into a problem.

I removed the user from the old server and indicated I wanted all BB data removed from the mailbox. I then waited for some hours and added the user to the new server. Entered the email address and pw on the BB and let it do its initialization. All went well and the inbox and contacts got replicated. Synchronization between BB and Exchange works fine for email, contacts and calendar.

But the calendar does not have any of the events that were already in Exchange. New ones will be synchronized from either end. But all the events that were already in this person's Exchange calendar did not get populated on the BB.

Am I doing something wrong? Did I forget a setting somewhere? Google doesn't help me.

Is the Desktop [CICAL] service book on the BlackBerry?
Check the Calendar options, are there more than one Desktop calendar?

Otherwise we may need more environment details...
