Default BES status hanging on initializing

Please Login to Remove!

I had an user that suddenly stopped receiving email on his device. I looked into the BES and saw that the last communication time was on the 14th. I'm still a pretty new admin, so I thought removing him and adding him back to the BES would reset everything. It didn't.

So, now in the user tab under the status column, it say initializing and has been for some time now.

Does anyone have any thoughts that may help me. I'm using BES Manager

Was the user's mailbox moved or changes made recently?
Was the Exchange server rebooted recently?

There are many things you can check:

- Does the ETP message arrive in the user mailbox after you attempt to EA?
- What is displayed on the BlackBerry?
- Can you EA a user in the same Mailbox store on the same Exchange server?

if you removed and added the user back in, you need to activate the user again.

What type of device does the user have?
