Default Problems with besuseradminclient - Error -25

Please Login to Remove!

Ok, I'll try to run through a quick synopsis here...I'm in the process of migrating my users from our older BES (v4.1.45) to a newly built BES (v4.1.73) with a new Blackberry Configuration database. The purpose for this move is to get to a supported version for the PDF vulnerability patch. Each server has its own SRP and we are running Exchange 2003 server with the latest patches.

I'm wanting to try and use the besuseradminclient tool to move the users. I've downloaded 4.1.72 of the resource kit. At first I was getting errors related to the MS10-066 and MS10-084 patches, but I figured those out. Now I am getting different error that I need help on.

The command that I'm running is besuseradminclient -move -p [password] -u [] -b [oldservername] -t [newservername] -n [IP address of newservername]. The user admin service is running and I have the MAPI profile correct. I get this error:

BESUserAdmin::SetBESInstance - Problem Setting ServerName (oldservername).
Error Code: -25 (Server does not exist)

I can ping the oldservername and reach its shares, but I cannot figure out this error. Searching through the web and forums has not helped. I have tried running this from an XP workstation and the new BES.

Has anyone seen this? Would really appreciate any help here! Thanks!

they have to share the same database.
