Default BES Admin Console won't open

Please Login to Remove!

We've just re-installed BES onto SBS 2003 (which was just converted from a physical to a virtual server yesterday) but can't get the BES Admin console to open. It errors tellinig me it cannot find the URL specified.

localhost:3443/webconsole/login

I don't see any BB-related virtual sites (or folders) listed in IIS under the Default Web Site, but I don't know if there are supposed to be any.

I can get to that BB Console URL manually in a browser but the login keeps failing even though I know I'm using the correct login credentials. I just reset the password on the BESAdmin account to make sure of that.

I've also set all the BB services to logon using the BESAdmin account. That is how it shold be configured, right?

Here are the latest BB log errors. Thanks for your help.

I have no idea why they're using port 3443. I'm abut to re-install BES. What do I need to check with the DNS? Thanks.

the default port for https is 443. Try with this port.

also, the BAS works with secure connection.

this means that you should try https://localhost:3443/webconsole/login or
https://yourservernamehere:3443/webconsole/login

Regards

yep, I am trying it with https. The login page comes up fine in Firefox though.

this is on SBS 2003 so OWA is using port 443. I read that BES could conflict with this port and that I should change the port if needed to avoid conflicts.

I also read that it could be a problem with CDO or permissions on the BESAdmin userr account. Thanks for your input.
