Default Transfer of BESMGMT SQL database from local sql express to Alternate SQL server

Please Login to Remove!

Hello-

I am need of a little assistance, i need to move my BESMGMT mdf and ldf files accross to a full instance of SQL standard, from the local instance of SQL express that it is current setup on; i am running BES Express 5.0.2.29

Can anyone outline what needs to be done?

if it is as easy as detaching the mdf from the local sql and attaching it to the new sql server then all should be good, i just want to ensure that i dont miss anything huge (sql schema related etc)

Thanks,

Josh

I did this years ago, it is actually fairly straight forward. only mistake I made was not using SSMS with BESAdmin logged in. Quick change of permissions back after restore and all was running well.
