Question BES 5.0.2 - Can you run Outlook and Lotus Notes together?

Please Login to Remove!

Just wondering... Can you run two different mail OS's from one BES server?

IE: Can you have a Lotus Notes Server and an MS Outlook server both running mail from a BES 5.0.2 server at the same time?

Well there's no such thing as a Outlook server, but no, there's a reason why BES comes in 3 flavours.

Yeah, BES comes with chocolate, strawberry and vanilla flavours and currently for a BES activated BlackBerry, there is no item on the menu for a mixed flavour. Haha... Juz for Laugh!

Not until a day when all 3 mail platforms (namely Domino, Exchange and GroupWise) can be truely unified.

But can you point the BES to look at a Lotus Notes server AND an Outlook machine so it can provide for two different kinds of email support?

NO, only one BES version per server OS.

The installers will not allow you to configure a diff mail server type than the one installed.
