I have tried all the suggested ways to get email for a Storm phone. All of a sudden it just doesn't get the BES email. Took out battery; resent the Host Routing Table; resent the Service Books; checked for updates -- still nothing. Any suggestions where to go from here? I have 15 BB users and only one has the email not coming in problem. Thanks for any help. SGarvey

Have you tried wiping the handheld and doing a new enterprise activation?

I've thought about doing a Master Reset first but wanted to see if anyone else had a simpler solution. I will try the Master Reset first then doing a new activation if the reset fails. I changed his settings to Global when he was in Europe last week. Would that be the problem? Your thoughts? SGarvey

I don't even know what a master reset is... so I certainly wouldn't recommend doing that.

Just send a remote wipe from BES... then do a new activation. It's very simple.

Setting to Global shouldn't matter. Just make sure that's what the user actually did.
Maybe they switched to GSM only, or possibly turned data services off.

The Master Reset is done under Options > Security. It wipes out everything. I'll try doing it from the BES tomorrow and start all over. Will let you know if this solves the problem. He can browse the internet and Outlook calendar and Contacts sync correctly. Just e-mail. SGarvey

That's not a 'Master Reset'. That's a security wipe.
Not sure where you got Master Reset from, but I think we're referring to the same thing.

Motorla used master reset in their manuals as well as a few other cell phone makers.

I get a few calls about it since most of our users had Motorola cell phones before.
