Default PIM Sync Field values disappearing

Please Login to Remove!

I am currently having an issue with the PIM Sync field value disappearing for a large number of users. I cannot confirm 100%, but it seems that most are on one particular mail server. This mail server has been around since our BES was in place. All taht has recently changed on the mailserver was that it was upgraded to Domino 852. Is anyone aware of why these fields are being cleared? Known Issue? Can this be reversed or will I need to manually update?

Did you recently assign this group of users under a BlackBerry Group?

See KB16033-Relative Path fields for PIM Sync are blank when one or more BlackBerry smartphone users are moved to a Group in BlackBerry Manager

Thanks for the response. However I do not have groups on my BES, all my users have the same Policy applied as well. That policy is basically the 'default' with the only change being to allow the installation of 3rd party apps by the BES.

The mappings for Domino 8.5.x are slightly different in previous versions. Plus, the mappings are different in 4.1.x than in 5.0.x for BES.
The data is there on the individual's web based version of the address book on the mail file, just not showing up on device. You need to determine what needs to be corrected, where it is currently located and where does it need to go. Then write a script and run it against the mail files / server.

I'm having the same issues with DirectConnect IDs not copying from the FAX2 field in BES 4.1.x into BES 5.0.x. FAX2 just doesn't exist in a friendly way for BES 5.0.x and Domino 8.5.x.

New wrinkle, same issue...
I'm noticing what might appear to be a link between the PIM Sync field clearing and the users current version of LN. We are in the midst of upgrading client versions from LN 7.0.2 to 8.5.1 FP3. I've noticed that all of my users with 8.5.1 FP3 now show this value cleared on the server. However all users who have other versions of lotus notes (8.5.1 base, 7.0.3, 7.0.2) do not have this value cleared. May/may not be related but seems to coincidental to rule out. Going to call RIM and ask, didn't k now if anyone else has experienced this, thanks!
