Default BB Activation issue

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone! Having trouble activating a Blackberry on BES. I am getting the error "The email address or password may be incorrect. Please contact your Systems Administrator" and yes the password is correct

Here is what I did:
1. Removed user from BES, added to another server.
2. Tried activating him on another Blackberry w/ different provider, same error.
3. User device does get PIN, and can make phone calls.

This is super frustrating, any takers?

Is the user's account provisioned with an Enterprise Blackberry Data Plan (BES), or just a personal BlackBerry Data Plan (BIS)?

You can use the Enterprise Readiness tool from RIM to check the provisioning.

You're definitely using the BES enterprise activation password that you set for the user?
Have you tried clearing the password in the user's BES profile and setting a new one?

Yes, I removed him and tried resetting the password numerous times. Haha i know it sounds crazy, I really am using the correct password. I think it may be an issue with his Exchange

It could also be something as simple as a _space_ after the e-mail addressed is typed in the EA field on the device.
I've had end users spell their own name incorrectly in there.

Turns out the guy had a messed up mailbox. I created him a new mailbox and then I was able to activate the device. I then did an Exmerge and all was well! The dude hade like 9,200 contacts, so I had him fix that. Weird. Thanks for the suggestions all!
