Old Bes is 4.1.6 running on 2003 Standard physical box database is Sql Express buildt in from install.
New Server is BESX 5.0.2 on 2008R2 HyperV virtual machine.
Exchange is 2007 cluster on separate servers.
Database is Sql2008 on separate machine.
Running in parallel, old server works great, fast, no issues, but want to update due to future upgrade to Exchange 2010, and Rim is saying that 4.1.6 will not be supported.
No issues during install, using the same besadmin account from the old server.
Slow email delivery and activation issues Rim support call recommended using static agents vs the dynamic one.
I find that if I activate a new BB on the old system it take 5 mins, new system even with a static agent, it takes 1-2 hrs.
Seems that after the BB user account is active and running, no issues seen, but new activations still take along time and have a tendancy to hang the static agent thread.
Any suggestions on what causes agent threads to hang?
Cdo is the newest 8190 that is on the besx box.
