Default BES 5 Set up Exchange

Please Login to Remove!

Going through the MAPI settings on the installation process and I get this error.

'The setup application could not find a mailbox that is named besadmin'

Already have one bes server in place that looks at this mailbox.

Anyone shed any light on it?

Is the besadmin mailbox hidden in the GAL?

Also messaging agent failed to start error code 5305
KB01018-"Service failed to start, generating error 5305" appears numerous times in the Windows Event Log

I got the same warning on BES EXPRESS (5.0.2) installation.

The setup application could not find a mailbox that is named besadmin.

I tried to insert the FQDN, hostname and IP of the Exchange Server (which is a 2007), but got no success

The user besadmin is also not hidden on GAL - i logged on another PC and i am able to open my mailbox.

What could be the reason?

BR
Mike
