Default Need to lock down Blackberry App World

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,
We're using BES 5.0.2.12 and have different IT policies in place for different users that all seem to work well, except for one. I need a policy that will prevent users from downloading and using the Blackberry app "Where, Inc". In the policy, under "Blackberry App World", I set "Application Restriction Rule" to Deny. I also added "916" to the "Application Restriction List". 916 is the application ID for "Where".

To test it, I assigned and pushed the policy to my blackberry but I was still able to download and use the "Where" app. Has anyone been successful blocking specific apps or know what step I missed?

Thanks for any and all help.

You did all good except that maybe device you are pushing this policy to needs to be at the 5.0 OS level or later for this it policy to work.
