Can someone help me with this. I installed BES Express on a SBS 2003 server. During the install I get a message that no global catalog servers were found and that I could not authenticate through AD and would have to use the administration service instead. I continued with the install but I am not sure if this is causing part of my problem below.
When I logged in using the administration console and created a user, sending an email with the activation password. When I connected the Blackberry using the web desktop, it does not seem to acknowledge that it is connected.
I'm not sure that the ActiveX plug-in installed. I was getting a warning in IE so I added the web site to the allow sites list on the local intranet. This made the warning go away but I don't recall seeing the option of installing the ActiveX plug-in.
Any help would be great as I don't know were to go from here or what to do to resolve it.
