Hello, I have a user that installed the HootSuite App on 9800. When inside the app, he clicks on a link that is supposed to direct them to a Facebook page and receives the following error:

"Your MDS has been configured to Deny SSL Request to servers that have certificates which are untrusted or expired. Try using Device side SSL which can be modified in your TLS Options. Contact your system admin with any questions."

Our BES is at ver 5.0.2 with latest patches (from what i'm told).

Is this a BES fix\solution or an issue with BB or 3rd party app?

That has nothing to do with your app. It has to do with the way that MDS-CS handles verification of secure sites (HTTPS). Have a look at the following KB article:
