Default accidently deleted user bes express 5

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

i accidently removed a user from bes express 5 but i have not wiped the handset .

is there anyway i can add the user back on the server and get the phone working without having to do Enterprise activation on the phone?

No, all the user specific entries have been deleted from the database and there is no un-delete function.

The only thing you could try is to do a database restore, but I am not sure what other sideeffects that would have.

Why wouldn't you want to do an Enterprise Activation. It is no big deal as you don't have to wipe the device, so the user settings will stay.

no reason not to do a re activation just thought if there was an easier way.

i will re activate without wiping and see how i get on
