Default Voicemail to email wav attachment won't forward to handheld from Telco

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, i'm having an issue forwarding emails to my blackberry that i'm receiving from my telco with voicemail attachments.

Here is the bizarre issue. If i leave myself a voicemail, i receive an email with a wav attachment in my inbox but no attachment on my blackberry. BUT if i copy and paste the attachment into a new email..it works great. AND if i forward the email with the attachment to myself if doesn't work.

Seems to be an issue with the email, has anyone seen this? any suggestions?

Just to be clear, emails sent with wav attachments works fine except the ones from the Telco.

thanks
Steve

What method of transport does the Telco use to send the email?

Knottyrope, i'm assuming you are looking for "smtp" or other transport methods?

i don't know the answer yet, waiting for a call back.

What other types of methods are they?

Uuencode attachments that are sent from non-Exchange servers are displayed as garbled text in Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2
