Default Installing Remote Administration Service

Please Login to Remove!

We have a Blackberry Enterprise server running 5.0.2 MR2 with the Administration Service installed. If I install a new remote Administration Service on a new server starting with 5.0.1 then upgrading to match the other servers version level will that affect the current Configuration Database.

Thanks

Why not run the 5.0.2 installer?

The 5.0.2 installer that we have is only an update installer.

Pretty sure I read the 5.0.2 update installer will allow you to run on another machine. As long as you specify your db that is already at that version it should work then you won't need to go through the upgrade.

Using the Update Installer worked for installing the remote components.
