No, it should't eat more. According to T-Support, that's just the way it works. Whether or not it needs to, I don't know since I'm not a server guy. I think more RAM is just going to give you peace of mind. We run our BES on 2GB with no problems, and it's not a dedicated machine. We have a few, small-footprint apps running on it, as well. The only issue I have with it is waiting for the BAS service to start before I can get into the UI.
