Hello - I am trying to move BES to a new server without re-activation of all the phones.

I installed BES express successfully on the new server, and am now trying to move the users over using the transporter utility.

Running this on the new server, trying to connect to the old one and the "test connection" button cannot reach the old SQL server. I've made sure that remote connections were enabled via the surface area configuration tool to no avail. Both servers are running SQL 2005 express, the version that came bundled with the blackberry download.

Any assistance you could offer would be appreciated.

It's one of the first things I tried, not working.. I believe there may be some problem with SQL express accepting remote connections.
