Default Accessing BAS from ipad or iphone

Please Login to Remove!

I'd like to access the Blackberry Administration site from my ipad or iphone. When I hit the site it immediately pops up with:

Cannot Open Page
Safari cannot open the page because it could not establish a secure connection to the server.

It never prompts to install the certificate. Any other internal site that has a cert it will prompt for me to install the cert and I'm off and running. Any way to get the cert on the ipad?

I called blackberry and they didn't have any suggestions. Also safari on the desktop works, it prompts properly.

Thanks

According to the compatibility sheet:

http://us.blackberry.com/support/sof..._apr_15_11.pdf

page 6, it is compatible with Safari 4+ for Mac so you are probably out of luck.

i tried it on the ipad while vpn'ed in and it complained about the bas cert, and wouldnt take me to the page, even though the cert was created by our internal ca which is trusted by verisign.

it works flawlessly on the playbook!

It works with BB9700 + OS6. And this is Safari too.

Can you change the Browser ID/User Agent string in Safari for iPad/iPhone ?

set to:
"Mozilla/5.0 (BlackBerry; U; BlackBerry 9700; en-US) AppleWebKit/534.8+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/6.0.0.534 Mobile Safari/534.8+"

This is the ID the Blackberry-browser sends. If BAS is refusing, just because of a wrong User Agent. That would be a way to fix it.
