When your users are enrolled on the UCA server, the administrator is given an option to send an e-mail (which is almost, but not necessarily, required). When you send this e-mail, the user is given their UserID & Password, but also how to download the manual (PDF), and the Windows UCA client. In addition, if you have enabled the user for UCA Mobile | Blackberry Edition, the user will also be given a link that they can clicked on to download UCA to their Blackberry device.
The link, because it is BES, is considered INTERNAL, and thus no external access (firewall) or DNS changes are required. The Blackberry (again because of BES) sees and uses the internal link (it's treated as an internal PC/workstation).
Enjoy using Mitel's Unified Communicator Mobile (the GPS functionality is a nice feature that really takes unified communications to the next level).
