So we updated our CAS servers to 2010 and suddenly BIS connectivity is broke.

If we manually put in the server addresses it'll work but seems autodiscover isn't working.

I've tried searching on the internet for BIS whitepapers and it's inner workings and have come up with little that details it like you can find for a BES.

Is this being held secret by the carriers? Any know how a BIS device connects into exchange exactly?

Did you change the URL for OWA?
Running ISA?
Forms based?

No to URL change, yes to ISA and yes to FBA

EDIT: Technically, URLS did change, but not for the exchange 2007 users which the majority of our userbase is on.

As an example, on cas2007 we had mail.domain.com for exchange 2007 and mail14.domain.com for exchange 2010.. when we updated CAS, we decommed some urls, all the ones pointing to Exchange 2010

We have a mixed 2007/2010 farm and redirection is needed. Does BIS not support redirection properly?

We're finding that some Android phones don't support it. Updated iPhones and Wp7 phones fully support it.

According to TMG, we're seeing the connection made and then it drops with a "405 Method not allowed" error.

What a crappy forum!! i have seen similar forums the same engine that don't alow you to post links until you have wrote epic posts!! I don't want to solve lots of problems but I do want to solve this one and help you guys...Anyway as I can't post the direct link go to this site think-like-a-computer.com and click the BIS category there.
