Default User activation

Please Login to Remove!

Afternoon,

Out BES (5.0.2) is having issues activating a single user, and RIM said that can't help anymore

I can activate other users without any issues just this user, when you look through the user information on the BES under the 'Component Information' tab the reported 'Messaging Server' is the server and not the CAS arrary as it does for all other users.

The user has been removed from the BES and re-added, and the user mailbox has been moved from one Exchange database to another.

When you attempt to active the device the ETP message is received in the users mailbox ok.

Any help or ideas of what else to check would be great, thanks in advance.

Michael.

For grins, did you try activating the user on another BB to see if it is a device issue? Did you make sure that the user does not have crazy rules in the mailbox? If you are using Exchange, try creating a new mailbox for the user to see if it an email issue

Default Re: User activation

Tried activating on more than one device, have also checked users inbox rules.

Didn't want to try the last suggestion, but is looking more likely that will have to do that...

Thanks

Hi Mike, it shouldn't be too big a deal. Just detach his mailbox, and create a new one. If that doesn't work, just detach the new MB, and attach the old one.
Hope that helps!
Rob
