Cool Bes 5.01 TLS / HTTPS

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
we have found out, that the checkbox activating the TLS-Setting found under the Security Setting on a device is blocking certain Apps, returning an error mesage either as to SSL or TLS Connection error.

By manualy unchecking the box (thus deactivating TLS) on a device soves all App and connecting problems.

Question: Does anybody know, with which policy on the BES I can deactivate TLS per Policy?

Thanx in advance.

Default Re: Bes 5.01 TLS / HTTPS

You can't disable TLS itself, I guess what you are referring to is the tick-box for enable the TLS proxy. Enabling this means that the BES is handling the SSL/certificate checks.

There is no policy to enable/disable this on the device. You can try to leave this box ticked (which is the default) and change the "Allow Untrusted HTTPS connection" to "True" on the BES. Restart the MDS Connection Service.
