Strange calendar issue
 

Hi,

This is the scenario.

Organizer sends a meeting request to an invitee. Invitee accepts the meeting request. The meeting is booked in the agenda of both the organizer and the invitee. All is well.

Now, when the invitee deletes the meeting in his/her agenda on the BB device, the organizer is not updated and does not know that the invitee deleted the meeting from his calendar. When you do this in Outlook, you are presented the question 'Delete and send response to the meeting organizer'. On the BB this is not the case. Is this by design or is something wrong?

On my Blackberry 9780 (with OS 6), if I delete an appointment that I have organized, I get a pop-up message asking:

"Send meeting cancellation to attendees? Yes/No"

If I delete an appointment that I have not organized, I am not asked this question. I guess that is standard behaviour.

I see the same as freakinvibe when using 9700 with 5.0.0.405.
