|  sync issues with vcards

We just installed SBS 2008 and the Blackberry BES with Outlook Exchange Server. Everything seems to work fine.
I have a contact record that was sent to me as a vcard and I saved it in Outlook 2010 and it does not sync to my BB Bold 9000.
I deleted the contact record from Outlook and entered it again manually and it works instantly with the sync now.
Just wondering if this is a known issue or a one off glitch? Are saved vcard records unable to sync?
Any input will be appreciated.
