Default BES Express 5.x

Please Login to Remove!

I have a client who installed BES Express 5.x on a desktop computer that's only got 2GB of RAM but runs Windows 2008 R2 server. Anyhow they have asked if it can be reinstalled on a VM session (without doing P2V). I had a look a their server and the DB run on the box as the BES does.

Is there anyway to backup the BES DB and then install BES Express on a new server in ESX (of course turning off the BES Express on the slow machine) then stopping the BES services on the new machine and restoring the old on top of the newly created one?

Or is there a better way?

Thanks
Andrew
