None. They don't communicate directly.
Both BES and the handheld communicate with RIM's NOC.

OK.

Just open one communication between BES and RIM´s NOC.
Does not matter if the BES manages 200 or 1000 accounts?

Yes, it depends on the number of users and what type of traffic you are referring to.
If it's just email, then not much data is used.
When you add web browsing via MDS, collaboration services if used, wireless software deployment, etc... then your data usage will increase. More users, more data.

Its just email.

And there are 1000 users.
-A thousand users how much network traffic consumes?
I know depends the numbers of emails, attachments, etc...
There are calculators/tables/Statistics for that??

All the 1000 user go for the same port 3101.
The are different channels I/O per user?

Yes, all data uses port 3101.
How fast is your Internet connection? For 1000 users, it sounds like you're concerned for no reason.

I don't know if RIM offers any calculators for this.

looking at my firewall report on BES server, we avarage about .5 meg of data per user with email and web, keep in mind that most here are on OS 6 and use wifi alot. YMMV.
