Default BES5 -Need to update only one device to OS6?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I'm running BES5 and been requested to update only one device to OS6 for testing purpose.
I'm new to BES administration and been told that should be a real trouble...
So can I do that? Is it even possible?

Thanks

Yes, it can be done.

However, since you're new to BES administration, I don't recommend that you update the device via BES. This is an advanced admin task and would likely be more of a headache to you due to inexperience.

Use BlackBerry Desktop Software and update the device manually via a local PC.

That's correct. The device should begin a new Enterprise Activation after the update is completed.
If it doesn't, just manually start a new activation.
