I'm trying to do a new install of BESX 5.0.3 on a new SBS2011 server but can't get past 1 of the steps in preparing the Exchange 2010 environment.

When I try to set the "Recieve-As" right by running this in the Exchange Management shell...

Get-MailboxDatabase | Add-ADPermission -User "BesAdmin" -AccessRights
ExtendedRight -ExtendedRights Receive-As, ms-Exch-Store-Admin

I get the following...

A positional parameter cannot be found that accepts argument 'Add-ADPermission'.
+ CategoryInfo :InvalidArgument: <:> [Get-MailboxDatabase], ParameterBindingException
+ FullyQualifiedErrorId : PositionalParameterNotFound, Get-MailboxDatabase

I've tried different accounts and run as administrator...still the same.

Am I missing something stupid here?

did you create a non hidden BESAdmin mailbox first?

Yes I have created an account called BesAdmin, logged into the account sent and received emails.
