Default Strange issue with sending

Please Login to Remove!

Having an issue with one user on BES Express, he receives email and can send fine but responding to emails coming in fail with the dreaded red X.

I've gone through all the permissions and all is as it should be send as wise etc (was my first thought when I saw the issue)

Looking in the logs am seeing some odd errors I've not seen before.

eg:

30000] (07/05 00:37:19.826):{0x1C4C} {user@domain.com} Service::TestAccessToMailbox Soap Exception caught: The account does not have permission to impersonate the requested user.

I've run iemstest but tbh am not relying on that as it gives a sendas error but then it also does on my own mailbox and my blackberry is running fine and can send/reply happily?!

EDIT: Just found that its only when replying to a mail in HTML format, if the mail is rich text he can reply fine but gets a red X on replying to an HTML email, anyone else had this?

On the mail with the red X, can you open it and scroll all the way up? What does it say in the "Status" field?

Went through this and found the user had a group membership and the group itself was in domain admins so was getting permissions stripped.

However: I fixed this and removed from the nested group, iemstest now passes but I sent a new email to the user in HTML format and it still gives a red X on reply...

Normally, if you get the red X on replying or forwarding, this is because it can't find the original message. Are you getting this message also if you forward a (HTML) message?

Yes the same red x when replying to, forwarding an HTML mail (tested it on rich text as well and same thing happens but with plain text mails its ok)

Have tried allsorts now completely wiped the handset, removed users BES account - recreated then reactivated handset etc same thing but only happening for one particular user, starting to think possible mailbox issue.
