So I've just got a testing system up and running (non production). My goal is to get a device activated on the BES so that I can see information such as the device model and Applications installed.
I have hooked the Phone up to the BES via USB and launched the BlackBerry Administration Service. I have walked though the steps here:
http: //support.opt3.com/KB/a45/activate-blackberry-using-blackberry-enterprise-server.aspx (using method 1 -> Attached Devices -> Manage Current Device -> Assign to user).
Once I apply it, I get the following message: 'The device that is connected to your computer has been activated.'.
Now if I look at the phone and open Enterprise Activation, I see 'No accounts are activated'.
Also if I take a look at the device (Attached Devices -> Overview -> Click on PIN#) I am seeing nothing underneath the Hardware -> Blackberry device model section.
Am I missing a step here or doing something wrong?
