Default Help - questions about BESE 5.0

Please Login to Remove!

Hello BBForums

I'm really new in BB world (I have installed +/- 10 BESE in my job)
At this time, I'm currently upgrading a Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010 server. In the same time, my customer want to install BESE 5.0 instead of 4.1 version.
I have planned to uninstall the current BB server (the "old" 4.1 version) and then I will install the latest 5.0 version on a new Virtual Machine.

> Do you think this is the easiest way for me (uninstall 4.1 then install 5.0) ? I have only 12 devices.
> If I try to connect an already configured BB device on 4.1 version on the new server, can I associate this device to a user like a new BB device ?
> Do I need to wipe all my devices before connect to the BESE 5.0 ?
> It's possible to migrate remote device with Over The Air without any wipe ? For some BB, I can connect them to the server with USB cable but for others, I need to do this remotely with OTA.

Thanks a lot in advance for your answers/advices.

Best regards

Also, don't do both migrations at the same time. First, move everybody to BES 5. Then move everybody to Exchange 2010.
