Hi,

I am about to install BES Express onto a windows 2003 server with 2003 exchange, my question is that the server already has an install of SQL Express 2005 on it, I think from Backup Exec. I dont want the BES install to screw any of the existing SQL up, will it detect and do the right thing or is somthing that I need to do manually, if so any instructions would be good as sql is not my thing.

Moved to a more appropriate location.

I've only installed BES with remote SQL, and in those instances it worked well installing to an existing instance hosting other services. I suspect it will detect SQL express and install fine, but without having done it I can't say for sure.

Is this a virtual box you can snapshot first?
