Default Newbie Stupid Question.

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

I finally managed to get the BES trial installed on a server. The plan is to work through pushing an app OTA using BES. The Server is not publicly available but I set up user and a group OK but I must be doing something wrong as, when I click on the 'Software Roles' or 'Policies' either in group or not, I just get the hourglass and it sits there ?

What am I doing wrong ?

Thanks

FBP.

"Server is not publicly available"

So you are not connected to RIM infrastructure on port 3101?

Hi,

Appreciate your replying, V.new to this, installed the trial, used keys provided etc. I did not physically expose the server through the firewall (assumed I would need to do so).

I can see no port activity on 3101. Correction - There is a port open on 3101

I am sorry if this is entirely stupid however I had assumed I would be able to take a look about policies / software configurations without this ?

Thanks again

FBP.

Yes, there is a port 3101 connected.
But I am not sure how this is preventing me from opening up software roles or profiles to have at look about?

Could it be exchange related maybe ?

Again, I honestly appreciate your patience with me on this.
