Default BESX 5.0.1 compatible with Exchange 2010 sp1 rollup 3 v3

Hello,

does anyone know or have run into issues with upgrading exchange 2010 sp1 to rollup 3 v3 while the BESX is on 5.0.1? i want to know if there are any issues before i upgrade exchange. it is vitial that our customer does not loose blackberry capability after the exchange upgrade.

now do i download the full blackberry mr3 installer and install right on top or do I use the upgrade application that ive been reading about. I could not find a file that runs the upgrade from 5.0.1 to 5.0.3. really confusing but i know this shouldn't be

On BES there are SP (Service Packs) and MR (Maintenance Releases). The SP are the "big" upgrades and the MR are the "small" upgrades within an SP.

If you are on 5.0.1, you are on SP 1. If you need to upgrade to SP 3 ( ==> 5.0.3), just download the SP 3 Upgrader and install it. After that, upgrade to the current MR level (which is MR 4 at the moment).

Just make sure you get the proper SP or MR for you version of BES. Full BES and BES Express are similar but different.

when i go to RIM's site, i don't see an MR4 for bes express. just the full bes express sp3 download ..im guessing this is the installer to upgrade..correct?
also, i see the mr1 download that i will apply after sp3 is installed

SP3 MR4 is only available for full BES.

Express is only at SP3 MR1

i installed BES 5.0.3 and rollup 4v-2 for exchange 2010 with no issues. went really well. thanks all
