Default Mail Migration Issue

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I am currently working on migrating users and mailboxes from one organization to another the scenario is as follows.

I am migrating Exchange/AD users & mailboxes from Company A to Company B.

Source environment has the following:
Blackberry organization
Exchange environment
Domain A
Symantec Enterprise Vault solution

Target environment has the following:
Blackberry organization
Exchange environment
Domain B

Since the source environment is using a email archiving solution (Symantec Enterprise Vault) and the target environment does not have this in place, i am being forced to push the archives into the source mailboxes during the migration (handled by Quest). This all works fine, except for one issue.

All the archived mails pushed to the mailboxes during migration will appear on the blackberry devices as unread and new mail?!?!?. Anyone have a clue on how to avoid this?

Any feedback is appreciated

Default Re: Mail Migration Issue

Are the archived mails restored to the Inbox?

I would restore them to a special Archive folder and not redirect this folder on the Blackberry.
