All,

We're seeing a very strange occurance in our environment that is preventing us from putting our company on Exchange 2010. Here is our scenario.

We currently have 2 BES Servers each attached to an Exchange 2010 server on a single domain in a single forest. We have 4 Test Users

User A is on BES1 attached to Exchange1
User B is on Exchange1 with Active Sync (NO BES)
User C is on BES1 attached to Exchange1
User D is on BES2 attached to Exchange2

Now if User A or C send an invite FROM Outlook 2010 to each other, the email shows up on Outlook fine, but on the blackberry as an email, not an invite. If User B FROM Outlook sends an invite to the other three users, it works fine. If user D sends an invite from outlook to User A or C then it shows up fine!

Now here is the odd part. If User A or C sends the invite from the blackberry or from Outlook Web Access it works fine. The common issue:

Outlook 2010 with a user who has a blackberry on Exchange1 on BES1 receives an email, not an invite. Users with active sync are fine.

We've called RIM support and they are stummped. We've tested everything and are fully patched to the latest release. Has anyone else experienced anything similar to this?
