Default Lost device and wipe

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys, I have a user who lost his phone so I sent a remote wipe request from the BES. Turns out the phone is turned off or the battery died at some point since Tuesday. I need to configure a replacement device for the user but I'm curious as to what happens with that queued wipe request. Will that interfere with me setting up a new phone? Will the request be completed on the old phone if it ever gets powered back on?

Default Re: Lost device and wipe

the wipe should be only for the specific PIN when you initiate it

RIM will queue the wipe request for 7 days at their NOC
