Default Folder redirection not found desktop manager

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Desktop Manager Version 7.0.0.59 and a Curve 9300 running ver 6.0.0.526.
Years ago when I had an earlier version of Desktop Manager and a good old 7280 handheld, I set up some rules in my Outlook to move certain e-mails to certain sub-folders. I then used desktop manager to choose which of my folders (and sub-folders) sent messages to my handheld.

This has worked flawlessly for at least 4 years now, but now I want to change a couple of the folders to allow those messages to be delivered to the handheld. The problem is that the current desktop manager does not give me that option anywhere (I have searched every possible menu and sub-menu).

I have seen posts stating I can do this on my handheld, but after following instructions in another post, I cannot find on my handheld where to do this.

Where did that option go from the desktop manager? Has my BES admin done something? Do I need to go back to an earlier version of desktop manager? and earlier handheld version?

Any and all help greatly appreciated.

I don't know if you can do this on an actual DM, never tried.

But doing it on the phone directly is easy:
  • Go to your message list
  • Press the Menu button and choose Options
  • Go to Email Preferences
  • Press the Menu button and choose Folder Redirection
  • Choose the folders you want to redirect
  • Press the Menu button and choose Save

It can also be done on the server by your BES Administrator.

Well, it works just fine when that little bit of information is added to the instructions. The previous posts I was reading did not say to click the menu button, just to choose folder redirection, and I couldn't find it.

Thanks freakinvibe
