Default BES license transfer

Please Login to Remove!

All,

I've read through most of that 60 page license thread. Hoping to get some clear cut directions.

Basically we have BES 5.0.3 licensed and installed on a child domain. Not one user has ever been on it, its been installed for maybe 2 months... forgotten project.

We are moving the BES environment to a different domain with EX2010 installed. In short I already installed a BES pair and used the same license/srp/auth as the other child domain. It did post a warning.

What do I need to do to correctly have the new bes environment working? Just stop services in the old environment or was there another process I was supposed to follow.

It is a different domain, IP schema, etc. They cannot talk to each other.

Thanks,
Joe

Default Re: BES license transfer

just stop the BES services on old BES and start using on the new one

The SRP makes a connection to RIM NOC so you cant run two at once.
