Mobile Fusion confusion We are currently running BES Express 5 and want tthe ability to control / add ios and android devices to our network. Do I need to install Mobile Fusion or Universal Device Service. I understand the UDS cant be installed on the same server as BESX. I have a test server 2008 R2 installed. |
Re: Mobile Fusion confusion Fusion controls UDS and BES |
Re: Mobile Fusion confusion and BDS (for playbooks) right... can I only install UDS so we can have the ability to control ios, and android. Without installing fusion? I dont mind having a secondary link to control androids/ios devices. |
Re: Mobile Fusion confusion You can install BlackBerry Mobile Fusion Studio on a separate computer or a computer that hosts one of the following products: xxx8226; Universal Device Service xxx8226; BlackBerry Device Service xxx8226; BlackBerry Enterprise Server xxx8226; BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express You must verify that IP connectivity is available to allow communication between BlackBerry Mobile Fusion Studio and the MDM domains that you want to manage. The BlackBerry Enterprise Server instances or BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express instances that you want to manage using BlackBerry Mobile Fusion Studio must use the same messaging environment. For example, if your organization uses Microsoft Exchange, all the BlackBerry Enterprise Server instances or BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express instances must belong to the same Microsoft Exchange organization. |
Re: Mobile Fusion confusion You might want to read the manuals BlackBerry - Mobile Fusion - Manage BlackBerry Apple iOS & Android Devices - US |
