Re: Contact numbers of devices not pulling into BES? To enable Automatic Wireless Backup on BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0, complete the following steps: In the BlackBerry Administration Service, select Users > Manage Users. On the Manage Users tab, click a BlackBerry smartphone user account. Click Default Configuration under Messaging configuration. Click Organizer data synchronization. Click Edit User. In the drop-down list for Automatic Wireless Backup Enabled, click True. Click Continue to user information edit. Click Save all. After that activate user again. |

Re: Contact numbers of devices not pulling into BES? there are some ways to get the info, but for some reason voda dn verizon dont let it happen upon activation. |
Re: Contact numbers of devices not pulling into BES? We sometimes see that numbers are not properly stored on the SIM card and thus don't show on BES. To check this, do the following: On you Blackberry, go to Options > Device > Advanced System Settings > SIM card Under "Phones numbers" check what is there. If no number is there or if it is wrong, high light it and press the Menu button, then choose Edit SIM Phone Number If you wait a day or so, it should come down to the BES. Or you just do a re-activation to get it quicker. |
