I got laid off today. I have a 9930 that was running great with Microsoft Exchange server.

Now that I don't have that service, can I wirelessly sync my local Outlook email and calendar to my Blackberry still? Or do I have to turn off wireless sync and use a cable everytime I want to sync up?

Do I essentially have to find another email host that supports Exchange Server? or can I still wirelessly sync a different way?

What are you trying to sync?

if just contacts and cal, then gmail as a middle man is best to sync.

You cannot directly sync your Outlook wirelessly, but you can sync with the mail server that hosts your mails. So your ISP/Email provider should be able to give you the IMAP/POP3/ActiveSync settings you need to sync with them.

And you will need a BIS plan rather than a BES plan. And you will also need to remove any IT Policy on the device.
