Calendars being deleted on devices
Hi Guys, I updated my Exchange 2010 server and my BES server (windows updates not BES updates) and rebooted them over the weekend, and since then calendar apointments have just been dissaepearing from the BES devices. They are still in outlook and if I force a calendar sync + resend service books they come back for a while, but then disappear again.

I have looked through all the logs etc but cant find anything.

Currently I am on BES 5.0.2 and the latest update of exchange. I have checked all the cdo files are the same etc and are the latest versions but cant figure this out.

Does anyone have any ideas of what could be causing this?

Re: Calendars being deleted on devices

Well you didn't mention what Exchange patch level but what you describe is "known" in Sp2 RU4 and RU5 and Microsoft mention "might" RU3.
However for us it didn't happen before RU4.
The issue is you get timeout from Exchange due Exchange is throttling.
Blackberry have an article KB33238 "Responsecode:ErrorServerbusy."

The workaround until a permanent fix is either disable EWS on the BES or increase the EWSFindCountLimit in the default throttlepolicy on Exchange.;jsessionid=C5A7E55EABA711F3B63BE86 E36FD4E11?externalId=KB33238&sliceId=2&cmd=display KC&docType=kc&noCount=true&ViewedDocsListHelper=co m.kanisa.apps.common.BaseViewedDocsListHelperImpl

We picked disable EWS.
The above describes the process.

Good luck :)

Re: Calendars being deleted on devices
I have throttling rules in place already and everything matches the documentation, I upgraded to bes sp4 and it seems to have sorted it... touch wood...
