I had created the email profile pointing to the US CAS Server and tried about 3 times and it failed to sycn any data, before I pointed the user to the UK CAS Server. after doing everything I knew (resetting BESAdmin permissions on MB, resetting activation pwd, deleteing from Balance etc.)I didnt do anything special and it eventually worked.
no sure why this happened but it works
